It is becoming increasingly clear that time is not on our side – the ranch is deteriorating at an alarming rate and something needs to be done and done quickly.
THE TIME HAS COME FOR US, THE FANS, TO TAKE ACTION!
Ok – so the current asking price for the property (154 acres)
is $3.9 million USD (approx £2.6 million GBP)
Way above the market value – but that’s the Elvis connection for you!
To cut to the chase – we desperately need to raise the money to buy the ranch and get it off the market
WE’RE LOOKING FOR INVESTORS WITH THE FUNDING AND INSIGHT TO SEE WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE THE RANCH COULD BE WITH A LITTLE TLC.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SPONSORS WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO FUND VARIOUS PROJECTS CONNECTED WITH THE RENOVATION OF THE RANCH OR WHO WILL PROVIDE MATERIALS/LABOUR/CONSULTANT SERVICES TO ENABLE US TO BRING THE RANCH BACK TO LIFE

PLEASE DON’T BE UNDER ANY ILLUSION – IF WE DON’T GET HOLD OFTHE RANCH IT COULD BE SOLD AT ANY TIME TO DEVELOPERS AND IT’S HIGHLY LIKELY THEY WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN FLATTENING THE REMAINING LINKS TO ELVIS ON THE PROPERTY
IT WOULD BE LIKE HE’D NEVER BEEN THERE AT ALL!
It would be a truly amazing tribute to Elvis if we, his fans, could achieve this alone; but if we could raise a significant amount then this would also encourage other individuals, agencies and organisations to support us – if they see we are serious and proactive in pursuing our goal.

WE EITHER ACT NOW OR WAIT FOR THAT ILLUSIVE BUYER AND THAT COULD BE TOO LATE! ALL THE WHILE THIS IMPORTANT PIECE OF ELVIS’ STORY IS LITERALLY ROTTING AND FALLING APART
Since January 2012 and despite the current economic crisis – we have raised around $11,000 USD (£7,000 GBP)

Please know that if, for any reason, the money we collect cannot be spent on the ranch – securing its future and its repair and renovation – then all money donated will be given to an existing Elvis related charity and donated in his name. No one here is in this for personal gain.
OUR VISION FOR THE RANCH

All donors are added to our Role of Honour on our website (unless request otherwise at the time of donation)
We also have several ideas how we could have a more permanent home for the Role of Honour at the ranch and we are currently establishing a ‘donation medal table’ – which will recognise differing amounts donated in either a special gift or a more permanent marker once we have secured the future of the ranch ……
for example
- Engraved flagstones on the Dedication Walking Trail
- Engraved bricks on newly built BBQ’s (in the style of the one Elvis had built there)
- A book of Remembrance

We have the support of Horn Lake’s Mayor and a pledge from him to do all he can to secure government funding and grants once the ranch is off the market. We have also received messages of encouragement and support from many of those who were close to Elvis and understand what a significant and important site this is and how much the ranch meant to him.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SECURE THIS IMPORTANT SITE AND USE IT TO CONTINUE ELVIS’ CHARITABLE AND HUMANITARIAN LEGACY.

To get a feel for the numbers of genuinely commited fans, we need to see their comments here on the site, not just posted as a comment on FB. The more who visit the site and register means they are likely to revisit and become more involved in the Foundation. Can this be made clearer in the FB campaign perhaps – to visit the website to register interest?

What a wonderful idea and a lovely way to remember Elvis. He would feel proud to know the Elvis Fans helped put this beautiful ranch back as it should be. I will be using a link to this site on facebook to direct other who may not know about this website. I will be asking many of our Elvis friends to drop by and have a read through whats going on. I wish that I was in a position to come over and visit but I dont have that kind of funds but I to would be willing to donate something towards putting the ranch back to its original state.
I would love to sit out there in one of the building with a coffee and listening to Elvis what an awesome way to spend an afternoon. Please keep me updated on whats going on. Just want to say if I had the funds I to would love to search for the wedding ring that got lost. I hope one day someone finds it and hands it back to Lisa. It has been posted on facebook a couple of times and we’ve had a great response via e-mail – so people have got back to us but not necessarily posted comments here on the website.
We are due to launch our Fundraising Drive very early in the New Year – so keep a look out for details both here on the website and on facebook. We’ll be hoping that supporters like yourself with help us spread the word.
